What to Bring

These following items are what you should bring to the event. 1. Your Personal Identification Number (PIN number), if you have been assigned one. You can request a PIN number at www.pin.ed.gov. 2. If you have previously completed a FAFSA Worksheet, please bring it with you. 3. Your Social Security Number. 4. Your driver's license (if any). 5. Your parents' 2011 W-2 forms (if you are a dependent student). If you earned income in 2011, you should also bring your 2011 W-2 forms. Free Tax Preparation Service will be provided by the Internal Revenue Service VITA Program for qualified applicants, if available at the event you attend. 6. Your 2011 untaxed income records (e.g., Veteran's non-education benefit records, child support received, worker's compensation). 7. Your current bank statements. 8. Your current business and investment mortgage information, business and farm records, stock, bond and other investment records. 9. Your resident alien registration or permanent resident card (if you are not a U.S. citizen).
